Grand Junction, Colorado Dirt Bike Trails

We were in Grand Junction for a week and eve though it was hitting over 100F, we made sure to get u early and hit some of the local dirt bike trails. The area we rode is a BLM area called Grand Valley OHV Recreation Area.

Most of the trail entrances are located just west of the airport. We parked at these GPS Coordinates: 39°09’30.8″N 108°34’48.5″W There were a few RV camped there as well which is to be expected with BLM land.

Despite the heat, we really enjoyed these trails. Very few rocks and it was dune-like but without loose sand. We would definitely ride this again when in the area ( and hopefully cooler weather!)

We stopped at Perri’s Powersports to pick up some stuff and the staff was friendly and o\pointed us to these trails. They sell & service Honda, Beta , Sherco and a few other brands.

Other places we enjoyed in the Grand Junction area were Peach Street Distillers(partially owned by Ska Brewing!) and Bin 707 Foodbar.

BTW, Grand Junction is only about 1 hour 40 minutes(111 miles) from Moab, UT!
